About Me
I discovered my passion for art on my first painting day in kindergarten and it has been my driving force all of my life. My early artistic pursuits have included painting murals, designing stained glass windows, and handpainting porcelain jewelry. I was mentored for several years by porcelain artist B. Welsh, which in turn led me to discover low fire glazes so I could pursue larger works.
My wall boxes are the evolution of my past artistic explorations. I love the eternal quality of ceramics - colors that don't fade over time, it's tactile quality, and it's sculptural quality.
